HTC announced 2 new smartphones

HTC coming up with its two flagship smartphone “U Ultra” and “U Play”, both the phones are packed with latest updates and technology as far as staying upto date is concerned but nothing new as such which could keep the HTC in the lead.

The Ultra is the higher-end device, a $750 phone with a 5.7-inch, 2560×1440 display along with 4GB RAM, 64 or 128GB storage, with Snapdragon 821 processor,Ultra is expected to be released in US only for now, The “U Play” is the international device, with a 5.2-inch, 1920×1080 screen, with 4GB RAM, 32 & 64GB storage, with a mid-range MediaTek processor. Both have good, though slightly different, cameras of 12-megapixel and a 16-megapixel front-facing camera, the Ultra gets almost double the 15 hours of talk time while HTC advertises for the Play.

HTC s more focused on its audio technology hence Ultra comes with BoomSound audio along with four microphones that are always listening, and it can record “3D audio”, but it has USB Type-C since it lacks a 3.5mm audio jack, same as the HTC 10 and its features.
