Since August of this year, a lot of rumors and reports are all over the internet with regard to the release of the much-anticipated Samsung Galaxy A5. And the recent leaks suggest that the new phone will have a curved screen and will be released before this year ends since the Galaxy A5 2016 was also launched last December.
According to Android Headlines, the Samsung Galaxy A5 2017 will have a 5.2-inch screen with a 1080-pixel display panel and Gorilla Glass 4 for protection. Samsung is also expected to incorporate its AMOLED technology trademark in its next A5. As seen in the leaked photos of the alleged smartphone, the latest rumor suggests that it will have a 2.5D curved screen.
Samsung’s Galaxy A5 or its A series are the less costly version compared to the brand’s S7 and S7 Edge. If the curved screen rumors turned out to be true, then the S7’s successors will have the same feature as well.
In addition, Samsung is also expected to retain its Exynos 7870 chipset or hopefully its updated version Exynos 7880. The upcoming Galaxy A5 will be backed up with 3,000 mAh for longer battery life. As to its storage, the handset will come with 3G RAM and 32G of expandable storage while its front and rear camera are said to be 16 megapixels with a F/1.9 aperture.
